How To Change Oil In Your Motorcycle

Firstly, you have to determine the position of drain plug (normally, it is under the motor of wet-sump system) then put pan-shape container on the bottom of plug. This has to be performed every changing oil time. There are two modern and basic options: cartridge and spin-on. With the first one, its replaceable filter is placed the inside recess of the engine case or canister with the motor. With the later filter, its working likes its name that means it will spin on and off like the automotive oil model’s.

You have to be really careful during the process of removing canister-type filter without stripping the fasteners which hold on cover plate or canister especially it is extremely important for you to clean these areas around thoroughly before removing. Because of spring and a few inside metal washers of canister for keeping filter in the correct position, you need pay attention their positions while setting up the new model especially remember that the spring and washers can be lost.

Step 3: Clean and replace the drain plug
